The Royals capped off a thrilling season with a triumphant 3-2 win over Blackpool.
Despite Blackpool taking an early lead, Sam Smith leveled the score before halftime. Harvey Knibbs put the Royals in front 2-1 in the second half, followed by Femi Azeez extending the lead to 3-1. Although Blackpool managed a peculiar second goal due to a defensive mix-up, the final score stood at 3-2.
Finishing the season in 17th place is quite a remarkable accomplishment, especially considering the position back in November.
