The world’s longest football club scarf has been created, featuring the emblems of 74 teams from various locations. This enormous 100-meter scarf boldly displays emblems from English Football League teams such as Reading and Scottish Premiership clubs.

It took over 500 hours to design, knit, and sew, and each team logo was hand-sewn by Manchester professionals. This incredible scarf honors football and collaboration, bringing people together from all across the world.

Several former professional footballers, including Jermaine Beckford and Michael Dawson, joined local schoolchildren on the pitch at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park in Birmingham to celebrate the launch.

Michael Dawson expressed his excitement about the initiative: “Football camps during school breaks were where I had the most fun, kicking the football around with your mates. The EFL has the advantage of being part of many different communities up and down the country. Having Kellogg’s on board this summer to give so many kids the same opportunity I had when I was younger is exciting.”

The initiative follows research revealing that 59 percent of parents find keeping their children entertained during the school summer holidays challenging. Additionally, 86 percent of parents aim to reduce their child’s screen time during this period.

Furthermore, many parents emphasize the importance of team sports in developing essential life skills.

In response to these findings, Kellanova, Kellogg’s parent company, generously provides 30,000 free spots for the camps before the start of this summer. This initiative aims to offer children across the country an engaging and enriching experience, promote physical activity, and foster valuable life skills.
