Piers Corbyn 75, brother of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn followed his way to each Wokingham library today where Drag Queen Aida H Dee was present. The storytelling event is advertised as inclusive storytelling for all ages, performed by the author, and children’s drag queen, Aida H Dee The Storytime Drag Queen!
The story hours were held at Wokingham, Woodley and Lower Earley libraries. However, protestors felt it was part of the sexualisation of children. Piers Corbyn had been fined after breaching Covid-19 restrictions during a series of anti-lockdown protests in central London last year. He was found guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday of participating in four different gatherings of more people than restrictions allowed at the time between 29 August and 31 December 2020.
