An audience was invited to ‘Step into Christmas’ with the Reading A440 Choir, and their very special guests, КРИЛА (Kryla, or Wings), a Ukrainian ladies’ choir, currently based in this area at Christ Church, Woodley on Friday.
The choirs sang their hearts out to a packed church with much-needed funds from ticket sales and a raffle.
The congregation enjoyed pieces from their varied choral repertoire and then celebrated the joy of Christmas with seasonal choral music, including opportunities for audience participation.
The Reading A440 Choir has been singing together since 2011. They are a mixed voice choir of around 40 singers based in Berkshire. They strive together to achieve musical excellence and have a strong belief in the power of music to build community and touch people’s hearts.
