A stolen Range Rover was left behind after a Ram Raid which took place in the early hours of the morning. The pictures of the Range Rover reveal what looks like bullet holes in the rear back passenger’s window. However, the Police involved with the investigation say no bullets were fired by them. The Met Police confirmed officers were in the area at the time as part of an ongoing investigation even though the area is covered by Thames Valley Police.
Thames Valley Police said it received multiple reports of a burglary at Tesco Express at Emmer Green, Reading, at about 02:45 The Range Rover will be a huge source of clues for the Police who will be searching for DNA and fingerprint evidence. The Met Police said armed officers were not involved and no shots were fired by the force. Police urged anyone with information or dash cam and doorbell footage to get in touch. Residents reported hearing “yelling and banging”. The petrol station has been cordoned off. On a grass verge directly opposite the petrol station, there is an Alfa Romeo surrounded by police tape, also with damage to its windscreen. There is also damage to part of the front of the Tesco express.
Bullets Hole Mystery?
The backdoor window clearly shows what appears to be bullet holes. However, Police confirm no firearms were used by its officers. We spoke to the Metropolitan Police press office concerning our thoughts about the bullet holes that appear to be present on the windscreen. They confirmed that its officers did not use firearms and for us to speak to directly Thames Valley Police. We are contacting Thames Valley Police to confirm exactly the situation. We understand the South Central Ambulance was scrambled to the scene.
